What if I need to outsource a project in a different language combination?

Contact us anyway. In some cases we will be able to take on the project, especially if you require languages we plan to include in our portfolio in the near future (Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish). In other cases we may be able to refer you to other reliable agencies or individual translators. Rest assured that we will never accept an assignment that is beyond our capabilities. We will only accept your assignment if we are 100% sure we can deliver the very best.

What areas of specialisation can Translations Inlinea handle?

We specialise in technical and business translation. However, we also have significant experience in several scientific disciplines, journalism and fiction. All projects are assigned to translators with specific, in-depth experience in the subject matter.

Pricing

How much will a translation cost me?

Our rates depend on many factors. Please see the relevant section for more information or request a free quote.

What happens when I ask for a quote?

If you filll out the online quote request form, or contact us in any other way to ask for a free price quote, we will simply provide you with the information you requested. We won't be contacting you in any other way, unless of course you ask us to...

Can I have a discount?

Yes. We offer progressively lower rates for large, recurring projects and projects involving several target languages.

What do I get for my money?

Our translation service includes translation by a professional translator and editing by a professional editor (both native speakers of the target language, and with an excellent command of the source language). The price also includes technical and/or project management if required. This may involve file compilation and source material analysis (word counts, required tools etc.).

Jobs

I'm a freelance translator/editor. Can I work for Translations Inlinea?

Send us your CV/resume. If you have the right qualifications, experience and specialisation, we will ask you to complete a translation and/or editing test. If you pass, we will enter you in our freelance database. We will then contact you when a project that fits your profile comes up.

I did a translation test for Translations Inlinea, but I failed. Can I try again?

We are perfectly aware that a translation test is just a 'snapshot in time'. So if you appreciated the feedback you received on your original test and think you have made substantial progress since then, we would be happy to assess your skills again. Please wait at least 12 months before you reapply.
